UnitedHealthcare Vision Plans

For Individuals and Families

Maintaining your vision health is a key component of your overall well-being. And if you’re visiting the United States for an extended period, you may miss a regularly scheduled appointment in your home country or need to see a vision provider at some point during your stay. While travel medical insurance provides coverage for unexpected illness and injury, you’ll need a separate vision plan to cover routine preventive care.

Through IMG’s partnership with UnitedHealthcare, you can purchase vision insurance, underwritten by Golden Rule Insurance Company, for individuals and families who are visiting the United States. These vision plans cover eye exams, plus glasses and/or contacts, depending on plan(s) available in your state.1 These plans are available for people of any age and are renewable for life.2 View the full details of available vision plans in the brochure or get a quote on the UnitedHealthcare website.

1Availability varies by U.S. state of residence. 2Primary insured must be at least 18 years of age. Renewability is subject to policy provisions.

Golden Rule Insurance Company is the underwriter of these plans. This product is administered by Spectera, Inc. See brochure for additional details regarding benefits, limitations, exclusions, and state variations.
