Contact UsINDIANAPOLIS (February 12, 2026) – IMG (International Medical Group) announced it has acquired World Nomads, a division of Australian health insurer nib.
With approximately $40 million of gross written premium, World Nomads has been protecting travelers globally since 2002, offering specialized travel insurance products and safety advice.
This acquisition significantly increases IMG’s global travel insurance distribution capabilities and supports further premium growth in several key markets.
IMG now has insurance distribution in 34 countries, including the US, UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and Canada—distributing products to millions of customers across six continents.

This deal follows IMG’s recent acquisition of Assist America, a leading provider of global emergency travel assistance services, producing approximately $20 million in annual assistance revenue.
