When booking a flight, cruise, or other travel expenditure, you’re likely to be asked at some point in the online checkout process if you’d like to add travel insurance to protect your purchase.
Although conveniently offered during the checkout process, the travel insurance plans offered through most major U.S. airlines and cruise lines (often called flight insurance or cruise insurance) may offer less coverage at a higher cost than purchasing a standalone travel insurance plan from a dedicated provider like IMG.
